System Operation
The UWRS continuously captures return water from process equipment. This water is routed through filtration to remove particulates, followed by UV treatment to maintain biological control. Heat is removed via a cooling media interface, and the conditioned water is then returned to the process. The system operates continuously, maintaining a stable and controlled loop.

UV Disinfection
UWRS utilizes 254 nanometer germicidal UV technology, the industry standard for microbial control. These systems are capable of achieving up to 4-log microbial reduction, effectively disrupting microbial DNA and preventing growth within the system.
Filtration
The filtration system removes suspended solids, debris, and contaminants that can negatively impact equipment performance. This protects heat exchangers, pumps, and downstream components from fouling and wear.
UV Performance Monitoring
UV system health is monitored through electrical parameters such as lamp amperage, providing insight into lamp performance and degradation. Optional sensors can monitor UV intensity or wavelength output, ensuring continued disinfection effectiveness over time.
Automated Protection
UWRS includes automated alarm systems that respond to out-of-range conditions. The system can alert operators, adjust operation, or trigger backup water supply to maintain process continuity.
Continuous Monitoring
The system continuously tracks turbidity, temperature, flow rate, and pressure. These data points allow operators to maintain optimal system conditions and identify issues before they impact performance.
